Statement of Mission and Purpose
SAGE is designed to enhance the spiritual, mental, educational, physical and social health of senior
members of the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventist by providing programs, activities, services, training and
opportunities for recreation and travel that will stimulate their spiritual growth, meet their needs for fellowship and create
opportunities for them to actively demonstrate God's love through service to others.
SAGE is a creation
of and had its origin in the Washington Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists in 1992. In 2002 it became a ministry
of the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It is headquartered at PO
Box 19039, Spokane, WA 99219-9039 or 15918 E Euclid, Spokane, WA 99216
Members of Seventh-day Adventist churches
in the Upper Columbia Conference who are 50 years of age and older, including couples where one spouse is 50 or older, and
friends of church members who are 50 or older are eligible for membership in SAGE.
Additionally:
The purpose of this organization is to increase the popularity of our common interests. We hope to add
new members so we will be able to grow and expand. We also want to have fun when we are together and working on projects.
By developing relationships and friendships, the organization will become even stronger.
