Camp Mivoden
June 1-3 was Camp Mivoden workbee time. Sixteen of us worked steadily and hard to prepare, add fertilizer and lay
landscape fabric then plant thousands of flowering plants. After planting we added bark dust for mulch and added beauty. This
task was performed to many flowerbeds both old and new.
Guess what, the weather was a constant drizzle most of
the time. Did we get wet? Mostly damp. It was warm enough to be quite comfortable even with the raindrops falling.
The camp became much more attractive with our efforts and we had a great time. We had worship together and in the evening
viewed pictures of past events. We had six new Sage members so they enjoyed the show.
Some got to use the pool
and hot tub, those that had energy remaining after a hard day.
We will return to Camp Mivoden again September
27-29. Why not plan to join us then.
